NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE INFORMATION


It is imperative that student-athletes understand the importance of initial college eligibility, starting in their freshmen year. For more information, please go to the NCAA Clearinghouse website, to become familiar with the new contact dates and general guidelines for becoming a member of the Clearinghouse.

COLLEGE RECRUITING INFORMATION

Recruiting Guidelines for Baseball Players/Parents:

Division I:
Student-athletes may receive calls once per week, starting July 1st after their junior year.

Division II:
Calls to student-athletes can begin once per week, starting June 15th after their junior year.

Division III:
There is no limit on the number of calls or when they can be made by a college coach.

All Divisions:
Official visits are not allowed until the first day of classes, senior year.

Division I - Off-Campus Contact:
Off-campus contacts by Div. I college coaches are allowed starting July 1st after the student-athlete's junior year. These evaluations and contacts are limited to seven times.

Division II - Off-Campus Contact:
Division II college coaches are limited to three in-person contacts off-campus, starting June 15th after junior year.

Division III - Off-Campus Contact:
Division III college coaches may begin to have contact off-campus after junior year. No limits.
